yesterday the meta-learning lab met with doug englebart for three hours. doug is a visionary who has been promoting the same vision for 50 years. no one has implemented his stuff. now in his late seventies, and apparently still optimistic that adoption is right around the corner. this is the myth of sysiphus in real life. as i decide on my focus going forward, i need to learn from doug's example of what to avoid.
