1. Find out what your bosses want and give it to them. Listen to the client. Ensure you are aligned with the organizational goals (listen to your boss and clients).
2. Don't use your terms; use theirs. Listen to the culture. The environment is important. Don't lose sight of its impact. Know the other enablers (human resources, finance, operations, comp).
3. Training isn't bad. It's one of many solutions available. Select the one that works. If you specialize in training, great-but use it when it's important!
4. Keep the end in mind. Focus on out Change is difficult. Stay focused, collaborate, and don't give up. comes and deliverables. Measurement counts. Focus on deliverables. Keep it simple.
